Great book!! Packaging not so much! Lets try this again, apparently my first attempt, although 100% clean was not acceptable, so I’ll revise a bit….I’m giving this 5 stars because the book is absolutely worth it and poor shipping (see below) should not effect the review of the actual book. Flipping through the books pages brings back so many memories and it was really nice seeing clean images of classic art. History of TSR and D & D with lots of art This is a massive book with lots of art. But it is not the D and D art book i was hoping for. None of my favourite pieces from 1st edition are in here. That’s because it is a history of the TSR company and specifically the D and D franchise and not a book dedicated solely to art.As a history of the company it’s pretty good. Especially the first chapter which details the origins of TSR and is a detailed account. From there the details become a bit more sparse, mostly involving product…

Don’t buy books from Amazon I’ve ordered this book seven times from Amazon. I had originally wanted to get a copy for myself and then I thought this would make a good gift for some of my players. Forget it. Amazon seems completely unable to deliver a copy of this without damage. This may be partly due to cheap materials used to make the book, but Amazon is also definitely mostly at fault here. The boxes these have been sent to me in are oversized, under padded, poorly sealed, etc. I was really looking forward to…
