Very Cool Book forAdults as Well as Children I’m a big fan of Rachel Goldstein’s drawing books. I have purchased most of them for my grandchildren, who love them. However, How to Draw Cool Things, Optical Illusions, 3D Letters, Cartoons and Stuff is a book I purchased for myself. It is my personal favorite, primarily because I am having a lot of fun drawing the variousoptical illusions and 3D drawings she has loaded her latest book with. I love to see the 3D drawings done bypeople that they exhibit on social media sites. Now…

Really cool ideas I never could have thought of! I love this book. I got it to draw with my 8 year old who is really likes illusions but is not a very enthusiastic drawer. I love drawing but optical illusions are difficult for me. I’d say this book is a bit challenging but that may just be me 🙂 . I was really immediately very excited to try the 3D ladder project. As soon as we found a ruler I let him draw all the lines himself and, of course, I was frustrated that it wasn’t absolutely perfect. It still worked though, and it was very cool…

Gift for aspiring comic book doodlers It seems to have great instructions… just wish the drawings progressed a bit to culminate in something more complicated. They’re all kind of the same level from beginning to end. But should be a fun gift for the doodler who wants to develop his skills!! Got a few as gifts for kids who like to make comic books (along with the blank comic book template journal).
