Beautiful book I pre-ordered the book, and it arrived today. The book is large and heavy, with a dust cover that matches the actual cover. It has glossy thick pages, a sewn binding, and a ribbon bookmark. The book is broken into the different locations and each location has artwork, blueprints, and discussion. I love Game of Thrones, and got this for inspiration while i sketch and paint my own creations, and this book will definitely supply lots of inspiration. I would have liked to see the sketching /…
A Bit Disappointed This is a large, coffee table book that focuses on architecture, set concepts and drawings, and some info on props design. There is concept art on cityscapes and the house fortresses. I have to say Iâm a bit disappointed as there is little on character design – virtually nothing on the dragons, white walkers, or the main characters. It may just be me, but much of the art is dark and in distinct. I have to give it 3 out of 5 – expected more variety and detail.
