My brain needed this! This book is a perfect anti-dote to how I (or, culturally: we) have fallen into a habit of reverting to my phone in idle moments: standing in line, waiting for someone, whatever–this book has not only made me aware of how quick I am to turn myself off and tune out of my surroundings, but encourages me to be more aware of where I am and what is around me.
