Stunning images bring each subject to life, and clear text and annotations provide comprehensive, age-appropriate coverage.

Great overview of ancient – modern art As my 9.5 year old daughter says âThis book isnât like most kidâs art books. This book tell you about why someone made art and what theyâre trying to say. I like that.â Me too.
Great book! This is a very big well made book about the Arts. It covers a lot – paintings, sculptures, music and instruments, photography and dance. It covers a lot really and the pictures featured are beautifully displayed around text like a scrapbook. It doesnât go deep into the subjects, itâs more like an overview but I think itâs great for my 7 year old – itâs not overwhelming.
Good Variety & Excellent Images I used this book to supplement a high school fine arts course and absolutely love the images! It’s not an incredibly comprehensive source of information like a typical art history text, but gives just enough to inform about a wide variety of arts topics and movements. Great variety of topics!
