Well-written… as expected! Relevant, informative and practical are the first words that come to mind to describe this book. Whether writing for personal or business reasons, most everybody can benefit from this book. Simple to read and organized logically, this book should be kept accessible by frequent writers to help organize new writings and/or reference it when they have questions about grammar, prepositional phrases, punctuation, etc.

Laura Brown Helped Me Write More Effectively I met Laura Brown when we were undergrads. Over the years, she has encouraged me to write and given me feedback on my writing. great resource for anyone who writes as part of their job I love how this book demystifies business writing. If you ever thought that clear, persuasive writing was an elusive talent and not a skill you can learn, this book shows that it just isn’t so. The author has broken down the mysteries of being your own best editor into a very useful 7-step checklist that I think works for all levels of writers, from novice to more experienced. If you write anything for work, this book is a great resource.
