Good But Not For Everyone I have gluten intolerance and I.BS.so many of the recipes aren’t for me, although in some cases, I can substitute one ingredient for another. There is no substute for the taste of avocado in a guacamole recipe, however, and quinoa flakes don’t work very well in recipes calling for oatmeal. Sadly, there aren’t many substitutes for broccoli and cauliflower. Another thing –if you have butter, ghee is easy to make and made properly, it is lactose free, too. You don’t absolutely need coconut oil,…

A must have for anyone who eats real food. I read cookbooks from cover to cover like novels. Don’t knock it till you try it, and I suggest you try it with this book. Sure, it is packed with incredible recipes that will have you running to the kitchen to try them all out, but it is also filled with valuable nutrition information from an expert in her field.

Loving it I am really loving this book! For us it is perfect for where we are at. We know the basics but we’re no experts in the kitchen, and we were getting bored of eating the same stuff. I love that she labels the meals so that it’s easy to see what is dairy free, gluten free, quick prep etc.I think the biggest thing for me has been learning that it’s not that scary to make your own sauces and dressings. It makes cooking things from whole unprocessed foods so much less intimidating.
