A little background on me so you know where I’m coming from: I’m in my 30s and living in Minneapolis, MN I have lived my whole life on a pretty meat and cheese heavy diet. BRAVO ATK!!! From cover to cover this book is packed with proven, thoroughly tested, diverse recipes.My brother and I decided to enthusiastically cook every dish in this book Julie & Julia style. So far a few standouts are the chocolate chip cookies, blueberry muffins, chickpea salad, creamless creamy tomato soup, pinto bean beet burger, and I could just drink the ginger miso sauce! Worst ATK book ever. Severe disappointment, and I love America’s Test Kitchen. Not much new in this book – have seen a lot of already in vegan sites or cookbooks and youtube videos.1. The salad section is a waste and a bore. Salads are easy to veganize. Ditto for the soup section.2. Found several mistakes (tofu scramble recipe calls for tumeric in list of ingredients, but in the recipe steps it says curry powder).3. No recipe for seitan? Really? I was hoping for ATK…
