Some neat pictures, but not for skill building Eh…. It’s cool to flip through, but I can’t say it added a lot to my photography skill set. It’s basically like a look into the authors’ Instagram feed, which is neat in it’s own way. But the tips are things such as “photograph your reflection” and “take artistic blurry photos”…. it’s ideas you are already being exposed to on Facebook, Instagram, etc every day.For a “chapter” / quick-tip style photography book, I strongly prefer the Digital Photography…

Light a Creative Spark! A fun gift idea for a photography enthusiast. I purchased this for a gift for a friend, and when it arrived, I took a look through it myself. It seemed to have some cute ideas, but it is very very centered on trendy imagery. Not a lot of words about technique or learning how to use your camera, but I suppose it never promised any instruction.
