So so Kind of cheaply made. Didn’t really teach steps of how to draw, just grids with half an image where kids can finish the other half.

Look for other books that actually teach you something I bought this for my 8 year old niece at Christmas, she likes to draw and is quite good at it so I thought this would be a good idea. When I first flipped through the book it was not what I expected, no step by step or any sort of instruction, just pictures broken down with a grid and an empty grid for you to try and duplicate. This did not seem like the best teaching method but since it had so many good reviews I thought kids must like it so I kept it and gave it to her. Her reaction was…

Fun for my daughter and myself! Fun entertainment for my daughter! I purchased this one and the animal version for this author and they have both made for some hands on entertainment. Both books contain a page with an outline of each of the animals which is intended for tracing but also great for coloring! I may have also used a few of the pages to learn to draw myself also….
