Selected as the text for my college portrait class! Selected this book for my text in my college portrait class. It provides both illustration and well written text in all aspects of creating portraits. I feel it will not only contribute to the students success but also become a resource they can reference in the future. Well written and illustrated from equipment necessary to the nuances of posing and body language with focus on the most important aspect, lighting.

Good Read Got the book and read through it the same day. It’s easy to read and understand, the author did a good job of explaining the practices and providing examples. If you’re a pro this isn’t a book for you but for the novice looking at trying something new I highly recommend.
