Taught an old dog new tricks!! This book was great! Before you got to the hands-on techniques (which I will use with strategic abandon this year in my high school math classroom), you get a thorough, scientific explanation of the most recent brain research. It was well worth reading this research at an in-depth level before I got to the techniques.
