Easy read with great info for beginners in nutrition, fitness or self improvement I wanted to read this for a while after finding the BKF Podcast, and while I’m glad I did (if nothing else to support its content creator, Brian Keane) it was a lot smaller than I imagined. The book isn’t an exhaustive read (~170 pages) which means it’s an easy to digest book but not as comprehensive as I’d wanted.HOWEVER I’m used to longer reads, for anyone who is a novice at reading, self improvement or nutrition/fitness this book is a GREAT start for you. More of the same If you’ve ever read a “fitness” book, then you’ve read this one. It reads like it was written by a frat bro the night before it was due, but he’s actually a nice frat bro who’s more interested in getting you laid than in getting you blacked out.There is a lot of dead air in this book, where Keane puts words in for the sake of having more words in the book, so I often felt like I would read and entire chapter only to have one or two paragraphs of practically useful information.
