Written for the conservative parent I received my book, it was as described, and I was excited to start reading it. Excellent book for parents and professionals This book is very well-written. It is clearly laid out and thorough in terms of the issues faced by parents of all “gender expansive” teens. The only thing I wished they had discussed in a bit more detail are some of the steps teens might be considering taking to bring their body and gender expression into closer alignment with their gender identity (hormones, blockers, binders, surgery, etc.). There was very little mention of those steps and I would have appreciated more.
